"Staff were friendly and welcoming, the food was lovely and the prices not bad at all for the portion size , catered well for allergy sufferers also. I’d just like to say a special Thankyou to Lewis , our sever. He was helpful and polite and nothing was too much trouble for him. Also to Jack who was helping bring our food to the table . "Absolute gem of a place! As soon as we walked through the door we knew this was our kind of pub. Such a friendly atmosphere, attentive and friendly staff and the food is amazing. Sophia was our server and at 17 years of age she was fantastic, very knowledgable and clearly enjoys her job! I opted for the Haggis bon bons to start and wow! Then for mains I had the Fillet Steak Sandwich with skinny fries and my fiancée had the sea bass which was cooked to perfection with crispy skin! With very generous portion sizes and an excellent selection of drinks its just an all round top notch experience such a shame we live 5 hours away and are only here for work as to have this place as your local would be awesome! 5 stars for every aspect of The Grapes"

"The menu has a large selection of steak sandwich and salatable. the customer service was not very attentive to our all necessaryness, nothing was much annoyed. our server was margo who had a very warming and fantastic setting. the steak was perfectly cooked and very tasty. the salatable is well filled with plenty of fresh products available. we would definitely come back and look forward to our next visit."

"Been here a few times, location okay, as between Glasgow and Edinburgh but you need transport. Rooms in original House very elegant, rooms in extension are lovely too. Food is excellent. Unfortunately I was there for a Funeral tea. The food, quantity, service and room were suitable for the occasion. But £3.25 for a 330ml can of Coke!! Rooms: 5"
