"The staff at La Parrilla are fabulous and the food is amazing. Get the guacamole, always delicious. Hubby and I have tried many different plates, all are excellent. Go with what you like, you won't be disappointed! Beers are ice cold, thank goodness, as it was 108 there today :)"

"Lots of delicious food on the menu at very attractive prices. The airconditioning is very nice too. This more of a restaurant than some other places with many nice touches. I've tried many things on the menu and have always been pleased. It is also...a good place to slip across the border for dinner with later hours than some places. When the snowbirds are heavy in town, and a long line forms to back get through the US checkpoint, this is a great place to wait and have dinner. Remember that the border closes at 10 pm. It is literally, just inside the border on the first street to the east right across from the queue to return to the US. When leaving Los Algodones, it is just to the right (maybe 40 feet) as you cross the street to leave the country. When entering, cross the road as soon as you can and backtrack toward the border to the corner."
