"Very good, well prepared coffee. Good variety of menu options and plenty of choice if vegan or vegetarian is your thing. Well cooked poached eggs but the toast currently served is a little tougher than I like. Great staff and service."

"What a delight! Apart from the consistently excellent food this restaurant is totally unique in the staff culture and a friendly working atmosphere that is clearly visible. It is a testament to the manager who empowers his staff allowing them to simply be themselves whilst still upholding a high standard of service. This is rare! In particular we would like to thank Rajbir who is not only superbly competent in the ingredients and flavours of the menu but also the history of the dishes. Add to that her personality and charm this was an absolute pleasure to dine here. Meeting Gopal and the other chefs and seeing their enthusiasm for food was also fantastic! Well done team! You are to be congratulated for your commitment to food, service and for your friendly contribution to humanity, however small. Many Thanks Thomas Vivienne"

"Lots of pizzas to choose from. Loved the crispy base and the chips were good. The food came out fast and was really good. Would like to try different pizzas when we go back. The guy who made the pizzas was super friendly and welcoming."

"Beautiful place and really nice staff. I have been a few times and my one sadness about the place is that there are loads of meat options and very few vegetarian, and I think 1 vegan option (so I always end up getting the same thing). They informed me that there are lots of vegetarian options in the morning (and I've always been in the afternoon)... but if there are few veggie options and loads of meat options left in the afternoon, surely that shows that more veggie and fewer meat options would be a good idea? I've heard other customers having the same feeling when I've been there so I think it would be a popular idea"

"I've only dined here once, relatively close to the restaurants opening <br/>I was left underwhelmed by the consistency, flavour and portioning of the meal I purchased, as the sauce was runny and bland. The chicken was cooked through, but didn't have that level of absorbency you'd expect from marinaded protein.<br/>That said, the staff were happy enough to serve me at about 10 minutes to closing time which I appreciated I'll visit again to see how things have developed"

"It’s always good when you can find somewhere that, on a Sunday, when no decisions can be made, you know you’ll be getting a good meal no matter what. Go Bang, Petone, looks from the outside like nothing too special. It has several tables outside which on a Sunny day, you need to be quick to grab. Inside, a section of food sits on the counter (try the scones, they are divine! Or if you’re lucky enough to grab a table, have a browse of the menu."
