"We hadn't booked but the proprietor found us a table. The food was excellent and the meat was perfectly cooked and came with a generous amount of sauted potatoes and salad, which was a relief since the menu gave the initial impression that vegetables were an extra. The pudding was also delicious. My only minor criticism is that customers were still being admitted at about 9.30 and were waiting for a table to become available, which in my experience tends to be unusual in France. I expect the table to be mine for the evening. Having said that I would return."

"The food is not exceptional, the service was good but I must say that it is extremely annoying the way the offer “frites a volonté”, they serve you a big bowl of fries and then if you don’t finish (you usually don’t cause they are a lot) they mix them with the waste and treat them as garbage. I suggest to give small portions and then if you want to eat more you ask for. Welcome to the XXI century bistro!"

"We had a great night at Angelo's. Refined dishes, exceptional service, excellent reception! The decor is very chic, a very intimate atmosphere and the view of the open kitchen is top!
