"That was our first visit to Hooked. We had Tacos from them on the Taco Tour and were thrilled to make a reservation and taste the entire restaurant experience. I'm not going back. It was so loud that our party of 5 had a hard time to enjoy a cover. The hostess tried to sit a table top for 4. The waitress Amber only told us about appetizer specialties and never told us there were any Entree specials. Half the appetizers were good, half was not. The shrimp rollers had a muddy consistency. The same thing happened to our ducks. Two of the five dishes were good and three were not. The two desserts that were ordered were good."

"Food quality was bad, the crab cake had a foul odor and fresh seafood never has an odor. Salad greens were slimy and brown. Nachos were served cold with only cheese sprinkle over the handful of chips on the plate. Crab cakes were $9.50, salad was $4.00 and nachos were $7.50. Very little food for a lot of money. Not worth it."

"Had a Cubano sandwich yesterday which was the best sandwich I have had in tears. The crispy bread held in some of the tenderest, juiciest, and delicious roast pork. Started eating in the car but had to stop because the yummiest pork drippings ever were leaking out.I got home and shared a large sandwich with the family to try and I am not kidding when I say a large could feed 3 people. I 'm lucky to have had any of it after everyone else tried it and all of a sudden got hungry. 'I am not hungry and I don 't feel like sandwiches were a couple quotes thrown myy way when I asked if anybody wanted something before I left to get the food. Then upon return being inundated with a woeful, starving lot whos ' I 'll just have a bite had become the family motto apparently. Why must people defer upon inquiry on whether their hunger needs satiation, only to shamelessly pick and gnash at my sustenance and bounty. You had a choice. You chose wrong. This is why we have wars.Ok, sorry, got ahead of myself their. I just needed to vent. I miss my sandwich. :(P.s. those little guava pastries.... omfg yes.Great soda and juice selection too.Go...get up. STOP READING THIS AND GO GET TO DULCES PEOPLE! GO!"
