"Great coffee first thing in the morning to start the day.Friendly service. The missing star is that I wanted my muffin at room temperature so I refused when asked if I wanted it heated up. What I didn't know was that room temp is not an option. The muffin was chilled."

"I ordered a large pizza from bondi pizza top ryde for pick up. I was told over the phone that it would be ready in 15 minutes. I arrived at the restaurant on time and was told that it was still cooking. I waited for another 20 minutes for the pizza. I then walked the 2 minutes home and checked the pizza and found it to completely cold as if it had been cooked 2 hours before. What was the reason for the 35 minute wait to serve me cold pizza which had been cooked a long time before i even placed my order??? Wont be back, thanks."

"BEWARE! This review is a matter of opinion and should be treated as such. Curzon 's Hall 's venue is stunning and would be a dream venue of choice for any couple to host their wedding, it 's not until you peek behind the curtains into the operation behind the doors you begin to realize why the trading company behind Curzon Hall starred in several 'A Current Affair ' reports in 2020. Staff are quick to respond to enquiries prior to recieving your signed contract and deposit after which you 'll recieve underwhelming responses and failed promises, in my opinion. Our wedding we scheduled late 2020 COVID disrupted the industry and while many vendors rose to the challenge, Curzon Hall had mostly excuses, in my opinion. Their staff tried to justify 3 4 week response times by saying they were too busy to answer calls or emails keeping in mind, this was during a time their industry was completely shutdown. With restrictions coming into effect, several requests to change the size or style of our event were put forward to Curzon Hall. They refused to down scale our event to a more reasonable size even with restrictions limiting us to 100 guests. We were asked to pay for the full contracted amount. Any adjustments to the event that would impact their bottom line were denied, in my opinion. Curzon Hall appeared willing to risk our guests and vendors health and safety to maximize their bottom line, in my opinion. The room we were going to have our wedding in could not reasonably fit the 200+ guests we were told would comfortably hold we tried to explain that with the four square metre rule we could not even have the contracted minimum guest count they demanded we paid for. We were told the garden and balcony counted towards the floor plan.. an interesting explanation to bypass the governments mandated orders, in my opinion. If you are told a venue can hold a certain amount of heads, try and find as much video/photo evidence of other events to support this! In our case, weddings with 50/100 LESS people than we were scheduled to have appeared quite cramped not a good look during COVID! Wedding venues are a dime a dozen in Sydney and if you are seriously considering using Curzon Hall I strongly recommend you look at all the other venues first, get all contracts reviewed by a lawyer and ask people that have used the group for feedback on their experience. I wouldn 't wish this venue on my enemies. We booked with another venue and once Curzon were advised, they offered to still host our wedding one week out from the scheduled date. ALMOST NO PLANNING was done on their part until this point. All to save face, in my opinion. Once we cancelled they demanded we paid for the event in full they disgustingly (in my opinion watched our vendors Instagram stories on our wedding day to capture evidence of us having gone ahead with our event at another venue... who does that?! Thankfully our matter was finalized through NCAT/Fair Trading of which Curzon Hall admitted no fault (surprised? . 0/10 would not recommend."

"I often eat here with friends for a quick lunch mid week and we can usually get a table outside (under cover) where it's quieter. Consistently good coffee. Food is usually tasty and of reasonable cost. There's a choice of inexpensive light bites like pre made wraps,...toasted sandwiches or speciality breads like sour cherry or blueberry pear, all day breakfast offerings through to burgers or meal sized salads. Chicken wrap of the day is a good bet, or Fruit Nut Bread with mixed berry jam maple cinnamon ricotta if I want something sweeter. Service is efficient friendly, order at counter take a number to your table and soon the staff bring everything to the table, which is usually clean. New local owners of late 2017 have been able to retain the reputation and the clientele of this great café well done!"

"I was there today at lunch time and had the Gnocchi Gorgonzola take away and OMG... wish i had a life time supply. Service was beautiful as well considering I was only ordering a small take away meal. I'd also recommend a fresh watermelon juice they do them the best compared to other places crushed ice throughout and really sweet."
