"Let's start with the beer. It's good. The food is ok to good, but not great. Additionally, it's overpriced even in this 2022 economy. Portions are solid though. The staff is friendly and efficient. The best part of the Crooked Hammock is the place itself. There is a ton to do, a lot to look at and is family friendly. Worth a visit for sure!"

"We had Italian sub and a chicken cheese steak and a bowl of onion soup. The sub was nothing close to an Italian. It was so dry. No cheese. No salt pepper or oregano. No oil. We asked for everything on it. The chicken cheese steak was dry. And the onion soup was returned and still came back cold."

"Cool place I’d recommend in Middletown. Entrance is in the back and down some stairs. Definitely a sort of “speak easy” vibe but I loved it. Fun drinks loved the Smokey Old Fashioned where they literally burn wood with a blow torch at your table! Food was terrific, though they were out of a couple of things I might have wanted to try. Will definitely go back. Service: Dine in"

"This is my favorite place to eat. The food is always good and comes out the right way every time. Service was great. Our server was somewhat green and we are difficult but he did a phenomenal job. Would totally recommend. We drive over an hour just to eat here.I recommend the pretzels, the hot lanta(oh my freeking gawd, incredible) and the Mac and cheese for the little ones is real Mac and cheese.... Not blue box.Go eat there ant any one of the locations they are all great.Kid-friendliness: I have kids they make a mess.... This place lets us come back."
