"When we arrived I was unsure if I wanted to stay for lunch due to the wall of noise that greeted us upon entry. We acclimatised also became happier with the level of service I received. I forgot my glasses and was struggling to read the menu. A staff member noticed and after asking a few questions she read parts of the menu out to me so I could decide! There was a queue at the bar to order drinks but the staff were clearly working hard and it didn't take too long. Dirty dishes were cleared quickly. My steak was cooked as ordered and hubby's ribs were slow-cooked, sticky and delicious."

"I have been a resident of Caulfield for 40 years and yet this is my first time at the Racecourse Hotel.This hotel is a little treasure on the corner of Waverley and Dandenong Road. It is quaint and the bistro is full of character. The staff was very attentive and service fast.She who must be obeyed had fish as usual. A very nice rockling, salad and chips. I followed their advertising of having the third best pub Parma and let me tell you it was delicious. Not the type of Parma one would normally find in a pub. Ambience great, food very good and the company of she who must be obeyed topping the evening.Highly recommended."

"Visit here all the time for the Parma. The best Parma in the town hands down. Rest of menu is pretty large quantities. Expensive for pub grub. But as I said a must for Parma lovers"

"We come here regularly but there’s something different happening tonight. The tasteless dry Potato Gratin has been replaced with a succulent moist offering that’s just delicious. The steaks r always pretty good but tonight it’s been ramped up! Little Joe’s scotch and my eye fillet were both cooked to perfection! We’ve always been regulars but tonight it’s just plain awesome!! Thank you and well done to all the team."

"Son of a Burch has some really tasty food that also had a very good set up in the way it is Kate's out with a relaxing vibe to the place. I alone find that it does also have awesome service and with all honesty I can highly recommend when in the area to try this place out. Great job."
