"Even it was a bit drive from the hotel that we stayed in downtown, but I am so glad my friend found this place when we visited Montreal. Spanel really serve up delicious and mouthwatering crepes! We opted for the simple savory crepes and they were really good."

"Very clean and cozy restaurant, perfect to come and try their brunch! I absolutely loved the decor and paintings on the walls.The Staff is super friendly, we got seated and had our order taken pretty quick, since the restaurant wasn't busy.We ordered their chai latte and regular latte, along with the chicken and waffles, and breakfast poutine.The breakfast poutine was amazing, the egg was cooked perfectly and the cheese curds were squeaky and melted perfectly with every bite.Chicken and waffles was also very good. Super flavourful and the chicken was juicy and crispy.If you're in Montreal, I highly recommend checking out this local restaurant and trying their brunch!Vegetarian options: Vegan options on the menu"

"Reviewing only pastries and coffee.For supposedly speciality coffee place their brew batch was pretty awful, extreme dark roast nothing more to it. Didn't finish it. Pastries meh, dry and stale :DService people were lovely though."

"Crepes are fresh and they have a wide variety to pick from. Just ordered water for drinks and we were a bit confused on how to get it because they pointed to cups but didn't set out the pitcher until we asked if we could have water again. Almost walked passed it so keep an eye out when you turn the corner!"

"I never tried REAL chocolate until I was Juliette chocolate. I'm a chocolate lover and more crazy for hazelnuts. I never tasted anything too pure and rich. I felt like I had torn off from other desserts. It is definitely a craft and not just your average dessert spot. It's very nice inside and our date night was complete."
