"What a little gem! This place is in a very small strip mall type of place and can be hard to see from the main road. They were able to make my burger and garlic fries dairy free. The garlic fries have hand grated garlic and if you can eat dairy, shaved parm. They are also able to swap the burger for a grilled chicken breast if you want a healthier option or are not able to eat red meat. They serve Diamond Knot beer and root beer. Staff was very friendly. Dietary restrictions: They can make things dairy free or without red meat. Parking: Small lot but enough parking at the time we went. Kid-friendliness: They had little coloring pages for the kiddos. Wheelchair accessibility: Lots of room to maneuver and park a wheelchair or walker. Short easy walk from parking to door. "We went to the walk up window on a Thursday at around 12:45pm. We placed our order, which was three orders of the 2 piece fish and chips. The gal at the window repeated it back to us as two orders of the three piece fish and chips, what resulted next was a constant back and forth that was comical but sad consistent repeat of no THREE orders, you know what screw it whatever yes it 's all the same in the end we need 6 pieces of fish however we get there is however we get there. The girl was either new and poorly trained, or she has no business being an order taker as she seemed very very overwhelmed. She the said it would be a 15 minute wait. We watched order after order come through, and food being brought out but it was sunny so we waited, and waited, and waited... finally after 36 minutes my husband went up to check on the order. After gently reminding her of the order (three two pieces of the fish and chips, don 't you remember the back and forth struggle when we ordered?!? she handed my husband a bag that was sitting to the side and giggled while saying, oh here you are! We went to the beach and opened up the bag to find we got two orders of two piece fish and chips... we were so done with the whole situation at that point that we didn 't even bother going back. The fries were cold (as expected as I 'm sure the bag was sitting for quite a while the fish crust was super crunchy, but the fish itself was dry and bland. The ONLY saving grace was the tarter sauce, oh my god I want to get buckets and buckets of the tarter sauce. It saved the cold fries and the bland fish. It turned this 1 start review into three stars as it has been 24 hours and I am still thinking about the tarter sauce... We won 't be back... but get the tarter sauce if you decide to take a chance and order from here, just don 't try and order three of anything..."

"We went there specifically for the crab cake appetizer. We each had that, their house salad and two different, wonderful desserts (apple wontons and white and dark chocolate mousse). Our waitress was new but proved to be very efficient, friendly and cool under pressure as she was the only server that evening! Cudos to her and to John's for hiring and training. We will definitely be returning."

"One of the first things I noticed when I came in was that the bathrooms were all disabled friendly. Always an important function, as well as a real beautiful open plan. the staff was super friendly and everyone smiled. The food was delicious and the drinks were also very good. Our waitress was very attentively fast and always had a smile pretty cool place to have a drink and some real good food. When I looked around, I was very glad that the bar inside and outside was very clean and always looking. If you are looking for a meeting with friends with drinks and good food well, then this is your place, enjoy all."
