"Fecken brilliant! To find a gluten free fish and chip shop is good but to find one that is actually tasty, priced right and well worth the visit is just amazing! Would highly recommend and will be back when passing thru next. Varied GF menu and the batter was light and fluffy. Chips were decent, not at all oily. Fish (tarakihi) was fresh and delicious. Thanks heaps for being GF"

"Needed a good curry meal away from home and so glad I found this place. A little out of the way and looks like a converted petrol station but don’t be put off. Seriously good food beef Rogan josh and a pile of good rice plus garlic naan for under $15). A delicious curry, tender meat and plenty of; medium chili was all I could handle; still thermally hot after drive back to town via bottle store Esk Valley 2017 Syrah went well with the food). Chef is ex Bollywood restaurant in town; about 10 yrs there but now cooking for his own business. I had to smile when was told best seller is butter chicken with chips! Kiwindian? Maybe next time. Just wish they were in Auckland!"

"Some nodded in a load car didn't help the service. The mash potatoes aren't the same recipe for the gravy.Better than Taupo but not the old flavour gravy that was real nice."

"Chips were a favourite but they changed the cooking oil, and added chicken salt to the chips which is not as good as before but still a great place to visit for volcanic rock cooked chicken, also they don't sell the 30 cent sauce and the takeaway box is now smaller for some reason? Staff are great. Location is well just look at these pictures and decide for yourself..."

"Soo good! We had the steak bacon and potato pie, chips and couldn’t resist the William Tell pie for dessert!! Apple and custard! Best pies, great chips, great coffee and awesome friendly service. Found on our last day in Napier we googled ‘pies Napier’ so glad we found them."
