"1. We ordered our drinks 2 white wines. 1 syrup. 1 water. 2. Waited a long time. Received two syrups. Not so bad we thought. Mistakes happen. Sent syrup back. Got water. 3. Ordered: 1 bison steak medium. 1 beef well done. 2 chips...for children. 4. Waited a long time. Received overcooked Bison and vey undercooked ‘bloody’ beef. Tried to get attention of staff. Took a long time. Restaurant was not that busy. Eventually they cooked the beef a bit more. Still not right. 5. Wanted to pay and leave. Took another 20 minutes after plates were cleared. 6. Long evening. Not fully satisfied. Cost a lot. 7. Very small number of menu choices. They should be done correctly"

"Sukhothai serves delicious and authentic Thai food. In typical Swiss standards, the restaurant isn't that cheap. However, if you takeaway, you save a couple of Francs. But honestly, the food is so tasty, that it doesn't hurt to splurge once in a while when you're craving for Thai. I think they also sometimes hold an all-you-can-eat buffet, but don't quote me on this. Strongly recommend the Tom Yum soup and the Chicken Red Curry!Service can sometimes be a little slow. But the wait is worth it once you taste the amazing food."

"My husband and I stayed at Hotel Ambassador and so we decided to try out the restaurant on our first night in Brig. I absolutely love Swiss food, so I decided to have the Kugelipastetli Luzerner - veal and mushroom in a cream sauce; and my husband went for the Olma Bratwurst. The food was sensational to say the least - one of the best meals we had on our trip, so I would highly recommend this restaurant to all.As we are from Australia, the meal including soft drinks and ice cream for dessert worked out to be AUD$100 which is pricey by Australian standards, but reasonable for Switzerland (CHF76.40).I would have gladly eaten here for our remaining 2 nights, but my husband wanted a cheaper alternative unfortunately.Finally, the service was great - we had a very friendly waiter who spoke very good English.Cannot fault this place!!!"

"Ein schönes altwürdiges Restaurant. Wir genossen eine ausgezeichnete, eher klassische, französische Küche. Das flambierte Rindsfilet war ein Genuss fürs Auge wie für den Gaumen. Schön wird solches Handwerk noch vor dem Gast gepflegt. Das ganze wurde durch einen freundlichen und aufmerksamen Service abgerundet. Wir kommen gerne wieder."
