"I was visiting New Plymouth for the weekend and was dragged here by a friend who wouldn't stop going on and on about how amazing this place was during the entire 5 hour drive from Auckland. State Pasta definitely did not disappoint us and it not only lived up to its reputation but has also created a new obsession for me we ended up going there 3 times in as many days because we simply had to try as many items as we could from their menu! The staff were super friendly and efficient and the pasta makes you give up all sense of moderation and resign yourself to ordering what could only be described as an obscene amount of food for one person to consume. The next time we are back in New Plymouth you can be rest assured we will be working our way through the rest of the menu...!"

"Amazing meal, and AAAA service from waiting staff. There was a small delay between Entree and Haupt, but there were two large groups. The young lady we served was very friendly and went beyond and beyond to make sure we enjoyed our evening. We will be back for more cocktails and oysters"

"Eating was excellent, but the service at the arrival was quiet poor and one of the ladies was quite rude asking why we sat where we sat, provided we were just where one of the other staff had set us. they had forgotten one of our drinks, so about 20 minutes after the order had to stand up and check it out, and they guess that it had already gone out what it had not. however eating for the bad service was amazing and the green smoothie when it finally came out was incredible. I would recommend this place, it is favorable for the quality of the foods they receive. the atmosphere is also quiet beautiful light and bright."

"Have just enjoyed brunch and a coffee here and I can't say how much I loved my meal! I had stabbed the “toast with most” with a fried egg and it was absolutely delicious. The coffee was also made perfect, I haven't inaugurated here for years, and I'll definitely be my new favourite again!"

"Excellent customer service, very fast and super friendly, the whole food was excellent what I can say otherwise, the famous mint on toast was sensational the mint was super tasty and some very large slices of beautiful toast, the French toast was spectacular and beautifully boiled, first decent coffee for the price class that I had 've in a while, even a very delicious fluffy for my boy. Thank you"
