"First night out alfresco dining after being couped up in the house for three months due to the pandemic. It was sooo nice to eat outdoors, patio style! We ordered two types of Manhattans. Both were mixed well, strong, and delicious. The restaurant put a sampler on the table with an italian pasta salad, to knosh of while we sipped cocktails. A nice surprise and very tasty. For a starter we ordered the mozzarella caprese salad pictured here. The dish was well presented, the mozzarella was moist, and flavorful. Set alongside ripe tomatoes and topped with roasted peppers, it was among the best I've had. We paired the mozzarella with their garlic knots. The dish came with a thick Italian sauce, the perfect consistency for dipping. The knots were very tasty and lots of garlic. Mmmmnnnn!! Good!! For our entrees, we ordered a spaghetti with meatballs and a pasta and eggplant parm. I love eggplant and this was the best! The meatballs were also delicious. We chose to have a second drink instead of having dessert we were too stuffed to eat anything more! This was a wonderful evening everything you would have expected after being in isolation for so long. The only thing, in my opinion, which would have enriched the experience: a little mood music piped in. Glad that Starlite is back! We will definitely return!"

"Ordered from here because I had a postmates discount. Saw the reviews weren 't stellar but decided to give it a shot anyway. I ordered the pork braciole/eggplant rollatini appetizer and the baked penne. The bracilole was not good. It seemed like it had been made days ahead of time, and stored in a non airtight container, it was really dried out. Had none of the rich flavor I expect from braciole. My grandmother would be appalled. Now the baked penne. I intentionally ordered this due to the mediocre reviews I saw, because I thought, how badly can pasta with mozzarella and ricotta get screwed up? Well let me start by saying this was not actually a baked pasta dish. This was a pile of penne, mixed with sauce, topped with mozzarella, and then maybe placed in an oven for a couple minutes to melt the cheese. I also detected ZERO ricotta cheese. Seriously guys get your stuff together. I have no doubt you can do better with just a bit more effort."

"First there was nothing on open table saying this would be prix fixed menu. Many people left once they found out. We get the eggplant rollatini appetizer and it came out cold. We each took one bite and sent it back. They brought it back with only one even though we didn’t eat the other. The menu options were mainly seafood dishes. I got the steak but it was mostly fat. The dessert came and thought you can’t mess up dessert. Wrong the banana foster was terrible. I don’t even think they were bananas. Everyone around us sent it back. They did offer us a new dessert but we were done at this point. Overall very disappointed. We come here often and were hoping for a nice warm pasta dish"
