"I was in the area and came upon this restaurant and bar. Started out with a big ditch hayburner ipa to quench my thirst. Pretty decent menu. They're known for seafood however Im trying a classic beef on weck. Cooked rare with horseradish on the side. As a longtime buffalo resident I was not excited with the bun on my sandwich it was kimmelwick with the caraway seed and salt on top. But it was a soft bun almost like a supermarket bought bun. That being said it was fine just not what I expected. The beef was tender if a tad overdone for my taste. My server showed me the sliced beef before it was made into a sandwich but the kitchen left it in the au jus a little too long but tender and tasty just the same. French fries were good not greasy and went well with the malt vinegar I requested. A couple of dill slices on the side were delicious. I will return to see how the seafood dishes are prepared."

"Supporting local businesses is important to us. We often visit these smaller establishments for our little dates. We brought the kids today. We ordered wings, appetizers and drinks. The wings were cooked perfectly. The garlic Parmesan wings were not good at all though. (Picture attached) they just covered them in grated Parmesan cheese. The medium wings, General tso wings, soft pretzels and mozzarella sticks were great. Our server... we ordered appetizers which came out with the wings. My son ordered a root beer, which I believe you should let the customer know it's in a bottle, not fountain. And there was an extra charge not disclosed on the check. Also, she never mentioned any specials. But, she told the people behind us all about them. And had we heard them before eating our food, we would have ordered them. In conclusion, if you go, the wings really were good with the exception of the garlic Parmesan ones. Get wings. And just ask questions of the server since she may not be very friendly. Also, cash only which is also not disclosed."

"The dutch baby is the star here. Their peanut butter pancakes as well as the banana pancakes are also terrific. Their portions are quite large and one could easily share a meal. Their coffee is good and strong and not watery like a lot of diner style drip coffee. I highly recommend this place!"
