"We go to this pub a lot and it’s always lovely. All the staff including Heather, contrary to another recent review that reads like a very thinly veiled personal attack have always been really friendly in our opinion. Always a pleasant evening and a good selection of beers that even keeps my husband happy! (Can really recommend the pizza too, and it’s 2 for 1 on Tuesdays)"

"Just wanna say what a lovely pub this is in a lovely area. Came in on the off chance as was visiting friends. I came in the afternoon and it wasn't that busy but it was a lovely pub. We had 2 lovely meals and...was served by Paul. The food came out in a good time and was served pleasently by the male chef. I didn't get his name but he seemed very happy and helpful and very friendly. It's not everyday you get the chef bringing the food to your table. That shows that everyone is a team player and will go out there way to help run a smooth service. I'l definitely be back without a doubt. Keep doin what your doing."

"What a beautiful building, a converted church now as a bar/restaurant. I love how they have kept the old foundation of the church and not changed a thing, a nice bar centre within the church and seatting all around. Nicely situated just before town centre, a easy find if you dont know the area. I did want to visit with my husband but booking online and finding a free time was ridiculous, I understand this place is a popular place to visit, but come on. (Book far in advance as possible) Unfortunately when ordering cocktail, they bearly had what I asked for TWICE, however saying that Danni who severed me was so nice and friendly I couldnt be too upset. Danni has a lovely nature about herself and was very smiley and made me feel welcomed, specially being in a place I dont know and by my self. The one thing I loved the most was, about 5 o clock the team started to walk in, all starting their working shifts. Yes they may be alot younger then me but the atmosphere they brought, the closeness they had, the friendship between them, loved it! Looks like a great team! Keep it up everyone!"

"We went for a Sunday lunch and it was delicious plentiful and cooked well. Reasonably priced. Caters well for vegetarians. Great drinks selection and service. Pub clean and comfortable. Parking a bit difficult on match days."

"The blonde who only works on a Saturday. she is beautiful 10 nov, 2014 nice pub poor management. overpriced ordinary pub food served by amateur dollts. also about expensive drinks in consideration of all other irrigation holes in and around this opposite an arrogant manager with a large chip on his shoulder and less manating than a pig never before I have known such an ignorant public servant in my life, a small problem was created that he personally took over, about which he refused to talk and simply went away to say to pay us and to go if we did not. after all this embarrassment, I had to apologize to my visiting American friends who travel to england was just...more"
