"“Pasta Pomodoro” will soon be known as “Pomodoro” as they serve not only pasta more. My wife and I have been fed there for more than 10 times in the last 2 years, and as food lovers I must say that the quality of the various dishes is of excellent quality and value. Your pasta dishes are always cooked and served exactly right. I and my wife enjoy the texture, the temperature and the part of the pasta, and they top it with exactly the right amount of fresh ingredients, so we could absolutely taste every item individually, just like things should be. I seem to have mastered the quality of pasta dishes. An object that thinks of Pomodoro, it's their shrimps. Their shrimps are always fresh and properly cooked, perhaps they have perfected the small window of opening for shrimp cooking. I recommend the special of the day as I dine them half the time when I dine there and they were all consistently great. Pomodoro has an open kitchen, a modern and clean interior, excellent lighting, a friendly bar and excellent service. I can't speak the same for all other Pomodoro restaurants, but I never even discovered the slightest hint that I fed in a chain restaurant. This Pomodoro certainly has a lot of personality, a place that customers feel alive, a credit to the current management team. Food servers are great as I never saw the bottom of my diet Coke, and they say thank you as my wife and I leave the restaurant in those nights when they were not too busy. If you have a wonderful pasta dish in the Novato area without the guessed work or breaking the bank, Pomodoro is definitely my highly recommmed spot. Overall rating: 3.7 stars."

"My husband and I have been eating here since their opening, about every month. It's not very authentic, but better than Pasta pomodoro. In order not to be very authentic, prices are somewhat above the top. We had a very bad experience with the waitress named Racey on Sunday. We ordered 2 pasta dishes and they brought us a small bowl (about 2 teaspoons) Parmesan cheese. I asked if we could have another one and she said it was 95 cents for extra cheese. IMO, it is bad to charge a customer if they want additional cheese. The Italian restaurants we were to roast the cheese right above your plate. They do not charge you every time they have more cheese for you. Anyway, the bill came to $37.78. We left five $1,00 bills as a tip. When we left the restaurant, she ran out with the bill and the tip and said we left our change. I said that was the tip. She said in these exact words: “No, I think you need it more than me.” Very rude and unprofessional!"
