"A true gem of a restaurant! Has a European vibe and a fantastic wine selection. Service is always exceptional. Our favorite date night spot in Oceanside for the last 2 years. Food is absolutely delicious and never disappoints, everything is fresh and seasonal. An absolute must in town. Owner is super friendly and helpful."

"I’ve had some good experiences and some bad experiences here at this location. My main gripe is that when I get takeout the fries are always cold when I get home. I live about 8 minutes away. Today when I was waiting for my order I finally realized why this consistently happens. They make the sides well before the burgers are even started and they place them on a take out tray directly below an air conditioner vent. Then once they’re ready to bag it up, they stack them in a paper bag with napkins in between. What little heat they have left creates steam and they sit there and get soggy on the way home. For something as simple as fries and onion rings— and especially for a to go order, is it that difficult to prepare them to order? I hate being a jerk and complaining to them but I also hate soggy fries and cold onion rings…"

"This is my favorite place to take a drink. ever! I came for a day trip from orange county with the metrolink weekend pass. it is a short (10 minutes maybe) walk from the railway station to barrell republic. Although I didn't try to eat here, there are several other places in the opposite, for the case that they wanted to grab a bite. when they arrive first, their id is checked and they are asked to put a card on datei. Once this is done for them, they get a bracelet connected to their card, then the fun begins. 200 different alcoholic beverages to choose, they just go to the hahn, scan their bracelet, and then pour a lot of them. every hahn has information about where the beer is out and taste etc. it is actually a wave of the future that I think to catch anywhere on others. Although you have to get up and get your beer, you can dictate exactly if you want to grab your drink instead of waiting. Together with this, it is much safer than traditional service, will deny her bracelet if she exceeds a certain amount of alcohol. if this happens to them, then after the measurement of the hostess it is to see if they unlock their bracelet. if you are here for a day on the beach, I recommend you come here and get some drinks!"

"I was traveling for work and it’s always hard to find decent restaurants that aren’t just burgers and fries. My entire experience there was great from start to finish. I’m picky and the prime rib was amazing, melted in your mouth! I would for sure come back when I’m in the area again!"

"High-five to this beach vibe. Super selection of brews and an abundance of tasty menu items. Staff is really friendly too...thank you Faith. Love the bonus cycle parking right in front. This might be my summer go-to. Edit: not going back on Monday afternoons. Bartender was impatient and rude and her bar peeps were equally as pathetic. I walked out angry and disappointed. Too bad, there's still plenty of summer left."
