"We had a great evening. we had nibbles of fishing, bhajis and chips divided and we had a beautiful gin tree. the personal was torn by the feet to be St.Patricks tag, and they did a fantastic task, with everything that so special done to them."

"Tucks and Bao have been on my visit list since they first opened, but somehow it’s taken me three years and my favourite Swedes coming home for me to finally take the leap. I ordered the BAO Boy and Andrey ordered the Cheese Bao-ger. I honestly had such mixed expectations coming into Tucks and Bao and was pleasantly surprised with what I found. The Bao Boy was absolutely delicious, the shrimp were 10 10 bangers. They were crunchy, seasoned to the nines and gave off a lowkey caramelised vibe which I loved. The sriracha mayo was a beauty and I would happily bathe in her and all her glory (but like seriously, sriracha anything is such a yes for me if done well). The buns were fluffy and could 10 10 bounce back from anything (one day I hope to be as resilient as the mighty Bao). I loved the fresh salad and the generous amounts of lettuce The guy who was working was actually the best. V chilled and pleasant to interact with (he also gave off the coolest vibes and had such an aesthetic). I will most certainly be returning to Tucks and Bao many more times in the future, so stay tuned and let’s get a comprehensive understanding of their menu together "

"Had been here before , but only for a drink or snack . This time I came to kill time while the other half attended some cocktail do up the road. So, yes, sadly I ate solo. I like the atmosphere here, love the decor, tables and have found the staff always friendly. Sometimes giving advice about the tap beers which is good seeing as there is many to choose from. On this occasion due to it being restaurant month I chose the special they had going.... $40 for the crispy calamari Cajun spiced fried until crisp and served with homemade lemon mayonnaise and the fancy fish chips fish dipped in their own special craft beer batter and lightly fried . And all washed down with the 2.5 Zeffer Cider on tap. The cider is a new one to me , somehow a unique taste that I've never tasted with a cider before, but still went down well . As for the calamari.. ..perfect and very nice mayonnaise. The fish and chips impressed me more, especially seeing as I had read reviews which criticised the fish.....not so with mine. The fish must have been fried just right as it was quite tasty with the batter being cooked right so it was nice and crispy. The fries weren't exactly chunky fries. More thin. That was the biggest complaint I had...So, anyway will definitely be back sometime and recommend to anyone to try for themselves. And good luck selecting from the tap beers......so many to choose from!!!."
