"Jess came up with and decorated this BEAUTIFUL creation for my birthday from a broad prompt of woodland mushrooms. I'm so amazed. There are so many details and everything is EDIBLE! no fondant here, everything is chocolate or buttercream, or ediblerice paper. The cake inside was delicious as all Baked by Susan cakes are too. Thank you!!"

"Food was amazing. The service was top notch. Definitely coming back with friends and family. The best was the price was now than reasonable for the area and quality. First time we have done breakfast and we will most definitely be back. So many amazing options. The people, the place, the food are the best of the best. I love coming here for any meal and bringing new people."

"We enjoyed a really nice meal tonight. My son had served the Matza ball soup with a huge soft Matza ball and Orecchiete Pasta. I had the Spanakopita that came with a Greek salad. It was right. The service was excellent and very friendly. Everything was delicious."

"Good food, excellent views. We thought of a late Sunday dinner and were surprised that all the outside seats were reserved at 4 p.m. Inside it was cool, but nice. The waiting staff is very young and well trained. The Fried Calamari appetizer was very tasty and delicate with a very light dough. My wife had Soft Shell Crabs, who were delicious, I had a Clam Po Boy who was not as good as the Crabs, but still very good and came with the same Cajun Mayo the Fried Calamari came along. All in all a very nice place for a meal, but next time we call an outside table ahead. The view is on the Hudson."

"I've been coming to this bagel place since I was a little girl, it's truly a neighborhood staple. The bagels are delicious, orders are taken care of relatively fast, and the staff are nice enough! I'm also shocked by all of the horrible reviews but I chalk it up to a preference of bagel texture: these bagels are on the doughier/chewier side, but I have never eaten anything from here remotely inedible or undercooked. Their egg breakfast sandwiches are delicious as well as a their lox, however the one downside to this place is that it is pretty expensive, a lox sandwich will run you around $15. It's small on the inside with a few booths, so when there's a long line it gets crowded but moves fast. I also just got half a dozen bagels to go for the first time and have zero complaints, they were cooked perfectly fine again I think the complaints are more due to texture preference based on who's eating the bagel. In the 25+ years I've been coming here the food and service has always been consistent."
