"My wife and I entered into the cafe with our 2 children to purchase hot beverages and some snacks for the kids. My initial impresssion was that the cafe was dated and not the cleanest in town. My cleanliness concerns were confirmed as I made the unfortunate mistake of going into the restroom . As I returned from the men's room, the server promptly approached our table and in an unpleasant tone asked if we would like to order. My wife mentioned that were were undecided and would like a few minutes to make our decision. At his point, the server refused to remove herself from our table and insisted that we place our order. At first, my wife and I thought she was kidding until the situation became awkward. I was completely bewildered by this cafes behaviour especially considering there were 2 young children present as the server became confrontational. Not comfortable with the situation I removed my family from the Cafe and walked to a competing business 2 doors doors where we were welcomed. Regrettably, this cafe is inconsistent with the charm and beauty of Old Montreal. My family and I have travelled many destinations and have visited many restaurant and cafes along the way. I have yet to expererience such poor customer service and would not recommend this cafe"

"We ordered spring rolls, cork and sweet potatoes to take along. the load had good business and so we had to wait about 15 minutes. the snacks were tasty and sweet potato friries was my favorite! I will definitely order again when I go to the shop and also, I am interested to try other food on the menu."

"Couscous was very simple, just boil water and add couscous and that's kafe kafta. Ordered vegetarian dish with one piece of zucchini, one potato and one sweet potato. Tons of mediocre couscous. Merguez was three small pieces with tons of bland coucous. Took over an hour to deliver"

"I like fried chicken....but not with Fly's. The food was ok but the many fly's in the area, general....flying around, really turned me off. I see fly's and I think dirty.....and the people working seems to not be aware of all of the fly's. The Asian woman was good, she seemed like she didn't want to be at the place.....like, I'm here because I kind find anything better."
