"Underwhelming. Old building that is located right beside highway and military base. I don’t know why people give this place any good reviews. We did a road trip and stayed at different hotels, this one was the hotel we wanted to ‘splurge’ on. For $362/night, this feels like a super 8 motel with a larger pool. The family pool was heated and that was nice since it was quite cold when we were here. About 10 minutes in, a group of frat/military boys who had no access to the hotel jumped the fence and jumped into the pool. This was very unacceptable with no security, especially we are here with two small kids.Morning time, there is a cafe but with no complimentary coffee except the pods from your room. All other hotels we stayed at on this trip surprised us with beautifully spread breakfast, one of them being Hyatt Place. This had nothing, anyway just underwhelmed worth first impression and overall experience. Absolutely not worth the price we paid for and highly regret choosing this hotel."

"The Sticks Burger was quite tasty, delicious ingredients. The fries are really skinny and crispy. We sat in the back deck outside with the heated rocks. It was a quiet ambience and quite warm for a cool evening. They have Pliny the Elder which is special. The kids menu was pretty robust with kids receiving a bento style box with carrot sticks and some fruit. The actual main dish (pasta or chicken strips) of the kids meal is a bit small."

"Been to this place a few times but this time I got the BBQ brisket sandwich. Very good and a lot of food for one personI felt the BBQ sauce lacked some spice or flavor. The beans were pinto beans but needed more spices and the mashed potatoes were great. Cornbread is like cake, yum."

"Had a wonderful dinner at Roy? Server was very knowledgeable about the wine list and my wife had a wonderful Chardonnay. We share the Scallop appetizer and the Brussels sprout salad. Both were excellent. For dinner we had the salmon and the fresh fish special of the day that was sea bass. The salmon was solid and the sea bass was excellent. Service was excellent and we could see the sunset."
