"We asked to have a half or smaller portion of the seafood Cobb salad and was declined. This is a very large portion and not easy to take home too soggy. The Qualicum Beach inn gives small portions for the same salad with better seafood."

"A group of 6 of us went to Lefty's for lunch and all 6 of us will definitely return. My dad had the pizza and he says it's the best pizza he's had since he was a kid (he's in his 70s). I am celiac and felt very comfortable ordering from the gluten free options. The server could answer all my questions and remembered my gf needs without a reminder. A great place for sandwiches, pizza, appies and burgers."

"The location is out of the way but not to bad. The big issue with the place is the poor greeting of patrons,1. You much wait outside regardless of age2, A over worked waitress sticks her head out thedoor asking what you want, If you say takeout yourdiscouraged and sent to the back of the line, If you say wellcan you go in and eat the waitress starts talking about howbusy they are then starts ignoring you moving on to the nextperson standing outside.Being from Seattle and the southwest I did not find the food very traditional Mexican salsa's lacked traditional flavors and heat.Possibly more for the westerners tastes but for me I expect better if its called a Mexican Bistro.I was excited to have a new place for one of my favorite foods but the lack of manners and feeling like they are doing you a favor really turned me off."
