"I called and asked for a window seat, as did relatives from New Zealand. I was happy to see we were accommodated. Fantastic view, not noisy like many restaurants and adequate valet parking. Our waitress was super friendly and attentive."

"Came here for lunch. I heard good things about their burgers so I tried one with cheddar and bacon, done medium like I always get. You can tell right away that the burger is made from fresh angus chop meat. It's definitely hand formed, nice, large and plump. The burger had the crumbly texture I enjoy. The bacon was crispy. It came on a fresh, soft kaiser bun with not too many poppy seeds. Definitely delicious and lived up to the hype. I also got wings which came with a side of buffalo sauce. The wings were standard deep fried bar wings that are lightly breaded and extra crunchy. Bartender was nice and got us all refills quickly. Food came out fast. Definitely a local townie hangout. That's not a bad thing! The burgers are great. I'd highly recommend Liberty Tavern if you're looking for a burger in the area."

"Really great. Above average Long Islands for average price. Really good food. The townies do not harass the pool table almost as much as the other local bars, so it is completely possible to walk and have a game or two. Bartenders are also great, price increases cut."
