"Met by a rude manager on arrival. Told I MUST pay via the app at the table ! I don 't want to use the app , I don 't have a smart phone. After some discussion she said 'well I could pay via card at the till if I need to ' I found her manner very unwelcoming. Shown to our table sat down. Manager walked off without saying anything. As it was a buffet we got up to help ourselves to be stopped in my tracks by the manager who bellowed at me 'have you paid? ' err paid ? I 've not eaten anything yet ! At no point did she tell me I had to pay at the till BEFORE eating, she just sat us down walked off obviously unhappy I didn 't want to pay via the app. The only plus point was the pizzas were hot, tasty replenished quickly but the plates for pizza salad bar are child sized for some reason ?!! The staff seem to amble about with nothing to do but swipe the plates off the table as soon as you put your fork down loiter making you feel uncomfortable. I won 't be rushing back I 'm afraid."

"A birthday party and a first visit to the Peterborough branch of Pizza Express (capital of its founder Peter Boizot). As always, the environment were reassuring familiar, the service efficient and the quality of food exceptional. Pizza Express has introduced a great new membership scheme on its mobile app with different rewards from bronze to gold based on your visits. My Veneziana Classic Pizza is an old favorite, but the huge Tiramisu Dessert was a real birthday contract! My partner had his favorite, the Calabrese Pizza, followed by a Mini Dessert Dolcetti from Caffè Reale Espresso. Very recommended!"

"I'm recreating again, they called today and they offered a refund for the last night's closure, many thanks. as already said, I find in the rule the service and eat amazing. we would not order pizza from anywhere and their pasta dishes are also great. we have stopped with the easy to eat app and order now directly from their website, as we get points of loyalty and it is easier than the per app. Thanks again, we will order soon"

"I know F&Bs can be hit and miss, but today a colleague and I stopped by for lunch, and it was fab. We ordered the Vegan Dog for me (proper tasty and a massive portion! and the Classic Cheese (colleague was very impressed! both with fries, and a couple of beers each. The bill came to £40 inc tip, and we were ably looked after by Joanna who was friendly, efficient and professional."
