"Time to kill at Queesngate so ventured back for an Ultimate breakfast and a mocha. Twenny bucks all up and great value for the money.The meal was good eggs nicely cooked, a decent wad of bacon and two small decent sausages to accompany the hash browns and toast. The meal isn't looking for a Michelen star, however it is great value when the pricing structure is considered. The cafe was reasonably busy and in my late 40's I was the youngest there. It was pension day and they seem to have their target market well tied down fixed incomes looking for simple well cooked food at the right price.The mocha was also one of the better ones I've had of late, and I've had a few. Maybe they've taken on board feedback."

"Terrible service arrived 5 minutes early to the booking at 8pm and table was not ready so we had to go outside and wait. there was a 55 minute wait on the mains and 40 minute wait on dessert by the time we had finished it was past 10pm. food was great but wasn't at all worth the wait. the bill was super expensive and we felt ripped off. we ended up feeling very disappointed and let down, as we were looking forward to going to a nice restaurant. ive previously worked in hospitality and id be really embarrassed making patrons wait more than an hour for food. not on the wait staff but a pretty bad reflection on management. apart from this, serivce was friendly and drinks were good just a shame that the massive wait times put a damper on the night."

"Absolutely love Shine Café! It has a lovely vibe to sit and have a coffee. Owner Sue was so welcoming and even though I can be a tricky customer with my dietary requirements, she managed to have something delicious whipped for me and I left feeling totally stoked. Coffee is on point too"
