"My lover and I went there to celebrate her birthday. It was Friday at 8:00. We have been there at least four times in the past two years, so you know we like it there. The valet parking fee, $9 before any tip, seems excessive. The holiday decorations were very lovely. The live music coming from the bar area was a nice feature and it was at just the right volume to be able to enjoy it and while not having it interfere with conversation. Service was impeccable. I enjoyed a well mixed Manhattan and we both enjoyed our wine. We split a garden salad each of the two halves was fully sufficient. My date ordered salmon and she loved it. I ordered the breaded orange roughy and was disappointed. The fish was dry, plain, and boring. Even the presentation was completely plain and flat. We finished of our meal with some great coffee. Everything was great, expect for the orange roughy I could have had fish just as good at Applebee's."

"Very charming oldschool diner, highly recommend. This lovely little gem of a restaurant took me by surprise. You feel like you've gone back in time when you walk in, plus i love those oldschool jukeboxes at every table! Service was beyond friendly, our server Heather was very attentive and warm. The food is cheap but definitely good quality. The fish sandwich is highly recommended, I got a huge piece of fried fish, that wasn't greasy or overly battered in a just right toasted bun with tartar sauce on the side, amazing. I was also really pleased with the free refill on the pop. And the cheesecake plain was so creamy and good. I didn't think I'd be impressed judging from the looks on the outside and given that its a 24 hour diner, but we walked in being it was the only place open at like 11:30pm and am so glad we did, I'll definitely be back here!"

"The food was decent, but the service could've been better. We attempted to make a reservation online, but when I got there, they had no record of it. The place was empty, but we got seated in the corner of the bar. The heat was out and a table even had to move for the heat to be repaired in the middle of dinner. The salad was lacking, and we were never offered any bread. So many more great places to go downtown."

"I've eaten here before the last time i was in Pittsburgh and it was just as good this time. They have a great selection on their menu and the food came out quickly and was delicious. The servers are very efficient and super friendly. It's a cool little place that looks like a diner inside. The only downside is that parking is terrible and why the 4 stars). It is a small parking lot that fills quickly and is hard to maneuver. There is, however, a paid parking lot right next door but it'll cost you at least 8 dollars."
