"The food is wonderful here. I had a corn and mackerel appetizer that was very inventive and delicious. Same for the perfectly grilled piglet. Service was also very good friendly and efficient. Prices were high but reasonable for the quality. Ambience is a mixed bag. It’s a nice restaurant but hotel guests have to walk through the center of the restaurant if they want to access the pool or restaurant on the 7th floor. Also, a lot of guests were wearing shorts and T shirts so no need to dress up. Overall, a very good restaurant, though, and a great choice for high end dining in Ponta Delgado."

"There are loads of places to eat in Ponta Delgada, where you will eat wonderful food, you can find a lot of them here on TripAdvisor. We tried most of them, working down from the number 1 during our three week long visit. Just by...accident we found Regresso a Conversa, when a friend took us for a coffee. We came back for a lunch and what a lunch it was. Carlos showed us to our table and explained the Days Specials to us. We chose a chicken salad and a meat salad. We were not expecting more than normal but when it arrived wow how we had under estimated. It was a feast for the eyes and for the taste buds. We washed it down with a lovely white wine. Every mouthful was a burst of flavours. We both agreed it was the best meal we had had on the island. We then sat and talked to our host while enjoying a expresso. I know that whatever I write here will not do the food, wine and ambience justice. Just come here for lunch and see for yourself, you will not be disappointed. And if you are not happy, I will pay your bill ha ha. Because that's the icing on the cake, two huge gorgeous salads, two large glasses of wine, two expresso's, €16,34. We came back today to do it all again. Highly recommend, well done Carlos and family."

"Had 2 wonderful meals here so far, one lunch and one dinner. Both reasonably priced and delicious. I especially love their soup and steak sandwich. I am sure we will eat here again before the weeks end!"

"Nice service and very good food. Very good organized and they helped us to change to a table outsida without hesitation. Only thing that made it a 4 star instead of 5 was that the meat wasn't medium as order (it was medium/well done) and the dessert didn't come with the tea, the tea came earlier. However the dessert lovely!"
