"Just had lunch at Casa do Provedor and my word they Provided. Three of us had the most wonderful lunch. My Wife and M in L had the Grilled Salmon , I took a chance and had Posta do Provedor which I guessed might be...dish of the house by the way translates in English to Post to the Ombudsman can't wait to see this. Oh, and we had a side of Tomatoes and Mozzarella and a very good bottle of the local white wine. My Posta do Provedor turned out to be a fantastic huge steak with beautiful new potatoes and wonderful vegetables, the Salmon was the same and tasted superb. The steak meal was classed as 1 Dose that's what they call half portion, unless you require two huge juicy steaks for lunch go for the €9.90 deal. The young staff were great and the ambience outside in the cool surrounding of the medieval walls are perfect. Hope you have as great a time as we did."

"Very tiny restaurant. We were forced to eat a full plate per person (which we didn 't want) and the price of the tourist menu jumped from 5€ to 15€ based on a printing error. The ladies should be aware of the mansplaning of the owner!"
