"Delicious food, beautifully presented and served in a gorgeous location. The menu has plenty of options including salads, wraps, mains, charcuterie and much more. A fantastic drink offering, and yummy desserts. Tall bottle of chilled water is a nice touch, and the vegetarian pantry has plenty of take-home items to choose from. A mini art gallery and yoga classes onsite as well. Looking forward to our next visit! This would be a great date night spot for a meal and live music. "Picture a near perfect lamb pie and barley soup washed down with some icy cold Harp lager. Add in a great atmosphere and a terrific staff and that is only the beginning. This place is as authentic as it gets. Located literally in the shadow of a deep water pier, it's like Ireland in Canada. Simply a great experience."

"We read about the opening of Vanilla Bean in a local paper and decided to check it out. It is beautifully decorated in white and a light aqua colour. It is very upscale and feels like you are in a big city, but right here in downtown Sarnia.There were many delicious desserts to choose from - cookies, muffins, cupcakes, cheesecake, cakes, etc. We chose a strawberry rhubarb crisp that came with ice cream, and creme brulee - one of the best I have ever had. We also tried the ginger honey coffee - a very tasty combination.In talking to Kathy, we found out that the recipes were from her late grandmother. She would be proud !! Apparently, the desserts vary, but are all homemade.This could be a dangerous regular place on our culinary trail !!"
