"We dined in and ordered the jollof rice with lamb and the oxtail dish! It was so good and portion sizes were generous. Host was very welcoming and made sure to explain the dishes in detail. Also, great atmosphere inside. Will be back again and looking forward to trying other menu items."

"The sandwiches here are absolutely delicious. I visit many Jersey Mike's Subs in the Raleigh area. This place reminded me of why Jersey Mike's Subs is my favorite. The food was fresh. I went there 2 days in a row, the food was so good. They are the #1 Jersey Mike's Subs in Raleigh. Of course that's just my opinion but they're #1 for me."

"I had dinner with two friends for a birthday on Saturday night. The restaurant was busy but not too loud. Our waitress was very knowledgeable about the menu and helped steer us in the direction of some excellent choices. We ordered six small plates to share and it was definitely enough food for the three of us. The prices were reasonable and we were all happy with the experience overall. I would definitely go back again!"

"I've been to the new Irregardless twice now. Once for a rather disappointing late brunch and a second time for a fabulous welcome back to town dinner. Their prices have definitely risen to The point where I won't be able to visit as much as I used to (and they also don't know what Eastern versus Western BBQ is, but I won't hold that against them). They're very conscious about vegan options and the dishes are still as high quality as I remember them being under the old management. Disappointed not to see any Raleigh brewing on the draft menu but the drink menu was very good. I got the most expensive vegan option of course. A North Carolina BBQ prepared maitake mushroom on mashed potatoes with a gorgeous, perfect amount of broccoli. Now the fiction kitchen has an Eastern BBQ plate which I love So I was very surprised when it showed up with a ketchup/tomato-based sauce. It was delicious Even though it was a western NC style barbecue sauce. Haha (My mom got the salmon The time blackberry cheesecake was divine. I hope they keep that one around because I'm definitely coming back for another slice. I'm happy to report that the staff are excellent, warm, friendly, and professional. Our waitress was friendly and delighted to answer all of our questions since we hadn't been for dinner yet. Brunch, the music was a little loud and by the time we actually got a table they were out of everything we wanted to order which is a little disappointing and speaks to poor planning. We did get was small but delicious. Not sure I would try brunch again unless I was really hankering for their brunch specifically and if so I would get a reservation a week ahead of time. As a person who's gone to this specific restaurant for over 2/3 of their life, I'm just glad that it's still exists and is in such good hands. I just hope they read up a little bit more on barbecue in North Carolina. And make more vegan things"

"The wife and I chose to stop in before leaving Raleigh yesterday to give it a shot after remembering it was used in the movie Bull Durham back in the 80's. The food we ordered was great and the prices were extremely reasonable for the proportions we were served. Had a great time talking to the waitress about the movie when it was filmed there and she even walked me around real quick to show the red table (they have a few that can be moved around so it's not set up as the same since the movie) that Kevin Costner and Susan Sarandon sat at. As far as parking goes I would look up Public Parking on GPS or ask a local so you don't have to deal with street parking. We both can't wait to come back in the future and maybe make it a complete experience if we are attending a Durham Bulls game"

"Came in for an early dinner, around 530pm and we found easy parking in the self-pay lot. The restaurant has a very eclectic vibe with lots of great art work. We sat at a table (not a booth) and our space was roomy we did not feel that we were sitting too close to other tables. The food service was quick and all our meals were fresh. We ordered brussel sprouts, green salad, tuna tartar and crab claws; my favorite was the brussel sprouts and the greens salad. Portions are very generous and definitely shareable . Had a great experience and enjoyed everything. Giving it 4 stars because I would have like to see a few more meal options to choose from on the menu and couple more dessert options. Overall would totally return. Thanks for the great dinner!"

"A quick bite at the right price togo! The empanadas are a decent size but the fillings is where they shine. At $3 for a empanada you can try a variety without breaking the bank. They are located in the Transfer Co. Downtown but don't worry there is plenty of free parking. I would still suggest going in non-peak times. There is plenty of seating inside and out with social distancing. You can order ahead for pick up. Touchless pay and hand sanitizer available. Worth stopping! I recommend the pulled pork with the Chimichurri Sauce."
