"It does what you want and does it well. Had the Classic Lamb for lunch. The meat was perfect. The gravy and mint jelly spot on. The bread was soft and the chips crisp and hot. An absolutely fantastic meal."

"Had Fathers Day lunch here with the family. Was not disappointed. The food was great. Serving staff were friendly and attentive, and the owner, who took our order was engaging and informative about the meal choices. Who knew a lamb schnitzel could be so nice?!? There was a mix up that delayed our desserts but once they arrived we were more than happy the tiramisu and the waffles were delicious. This was good, honest food in a nice, open and friendly atmosphere. Will definitely be going back."

"Really good. eating is also quite good with some interesting specials. the children's dishes are okay if a bit disappointing by the nuggets and chips sorte. the staff is great: well informed and friendly, without being too laborious. there is a small children's playground. book about busy nights."
