"The bar proposal is nice. It has good hair and decoration, besides being at a good point of Lapa, but it leaves to be desired throughout the rest. The bar is tight, even the tables on the strolls are practically glued to each other. Cardapio did not attract me a lot and missed some kind of entertainment when I went, there was no band or musical group to make the place more pleasant, no music played, just the noise of the conversations of all the tables blending. This is because it was a Friday night. The service is ok."

"I visited this restaurant (a hole in the wall really) yesterday with a Brazilian friend. The food lived up to its reputation. The dishes are very creative but they also taste good. Based on Brazilian favorites, it might be defined as nouveau cuisine. The play is very small--probably not even tables. People hang out on the street and have drinks while waiting. Since this is off the tourist track in the Estácio area (Centro/Zona Norte) most won't come up here. Without speaking Portuguese it would be a very adventurous outing, but worth it for the food and the local atmosphere."
