"Went to Mario's yesterday and as an Italian I can tell you one thing : they DO serve proper Italian food. Marco, Mario's son spent some time at our table he is adorable and you can tell he is very passionate about what he does. Pasta is cooked al dente, sauces are not greasy and pizzas are top notch please don't skip this restaurant. "Ordered pizza and sides. Sides never arrived. Called up. Manager said so sorry we’ll duplicate your order and you can have it for free next time as it would take long to just send sides out. Family visited called up for the pizza. Wanted...to add more to the order. Manager wasn’t available. Nobody knew what was going on. Eventually we were sent a pizza without consulting us and then had to order more pizzas For rest of family while that one went cold. Such a shambles. Never again"

"The best in ripon. the marinated lamb kebab is amazing. it has a deep taste that surpasses all the others in ripon. her pizza base is in a class of itself, it is as light as ciabatta brot, but with a beautiful crisp edge. it is so satisfying to eat because it is not difficult and stoney as other places. they can really say that each ingredient is fresh and well prepared. I would recommend to everyone zorros."

"This is an excellent little curry house. We've been eating here atleast a few times a month for a number of years.Service has always been friendly, although when the restaurant is at full capacity the service can be very slow.The waiters seem genuinely pleased to take special orders and adapt meals to individual requirements, it seems that these requests are recognised and catered to by the chef.Food is consistantly excellent, we have never experienced any problems with any of our meals. The price is fantastic at around per head for a starter and main course.Soft drinks are also very well priced.For us an added bonus is being able to bring our own alchohol into the restaurant."
