"I attended a Hen's night at The Mediterranean on a Saturday night in February Upon walking up the steep flight of stairs to the top floor, you are whisked away into a Greek paradise! Allegedly. You are shown into a large room packed with...other groups of women on their own Hen's night. Maneuvering to our table was a bit tricky, and they were far too close together. Apart from the masses of tables, there was one small dancefloor which wouldn't have housed the masses if everyone wanted to dance. The music was trashy and unbelievably loud I couldn't keep a conversation with my girlfriend next to me without speaking directly into her ear. It wasn't worth talking to anyone else in our party at all. Throughout the night I felt myself going deaf and my sit bones going sore on the hard wooden chairs. I would usually get up and dance at this point but the music was something to be desired. The food was acceptable, although I didn't receive an entree as was promised by one of the staff members at the beginning of the night (being a vegetarian I had my own entree and main course). The main course was a risotto-type dish with potato which was quite yummy, but the zucchini was inedible. The entertainment throughout the night was a four piece guy group called Extreme Exposure. They had their dancing moves down pat but when you're called Extreme Exposure you want both of those things. The most I saw was a bit of bum! Later on there was some entertainment by a drag queen which I found a bit out of place (not for Oxford St of course, but for a Hen's night). I used this opportunity to visit the bathroom. As the night progressed some of the (topless) waiters came around and cleared tables, primarily water glasses which still had water in them. I found this strange, possibly a ploy to get people to go up and buy drinks at the bar, which upon my first and only visit (besides to get water) didn't have any champagne tumblers, and everything was plastic! All in all, I found the night quite dull and I couldn't wait to get out of there to breathe and let my ears stop ringing. At least the bride had a great night, which is what matters, right"

"Humble joint with Really really good food guys. The food here actually looks like it's picture The burgers for me are just amazing. Kind and friendly service too. It's the kind of place that deserves support! Try it out sometime when you're in the area. I'm more of a grab and go type so not sure how it's like to sit in but I like the food and I'll keep going back"

"Great little Italian place in Newtown. Very homely. The food was good. The wine was good. The table next to us was a large group and had a few shared platters which looked amazing. Definitely a good place a do host that kinda group setting."

"TLC, The Last Course, more like Tender Love Care. Because you can taste the food here has had plenty love and care before being served.Each dish is as delicious and delectable as the next.I've been here a few times and will DEFINITELY return. If you're interested in a proper dinner and desert in one, look no further. The staff here are absolutely amazing too. "Food was pretty good but very pricey. Place is also extremely small with only few sittings inside.If its a bad weather I wouldn't even bother as you not gone get in.And come on guys when you ADD toast to breakfast for 2.5 you kind of expect full peace of bread, not chop off from last customer."
