"It was a bit of a struggle to find a vegan breakfast here, I ended up getting a raw cake and a berry smoothie. Both were really nice, didn't feel full from it but it was nice, just wish there were a bit more options. The staff were lovely but my friends ordered coffee and food that took forever."

"They had a good selection of vegetarian dresses that were also vegan (and more that were not vegan). quite a lot I would expect for Indians, nothing I didn't see elsewhere. eating was good, service was slow (they had a warning on the menu, so it always seems slow)."

In this gastropub, you not only get delicious meals from the menu but also a comprehensive and particularly good variety of good beers and other alcoholic beverages that go well with the food, There are also tasty South American cuisine on the menu. Surely, it's also a nice experience to feel like in the Wild West once, to drink and consume like the cowboys or even the bandits with a drink or two paired with onion rings and a nice spicy burger, Naturally, you can't miss out on the tasty burgers, which are accompanied by sides like fries, salads, or wedges served.

"Tea and Happiness is a perfect gem of a restaurant. Any city worldwide would be lucky to have such a friendly, delicious and creative restaurant call it home but even in Rotorua, a beautiful place with so much to do, we were totally drawn in to the warm community atmosphere and delicious menu of Tea and Happiness. The proprietor was an extremely warm and helpful person, the kind of person you'd love to call your friend after eating here once. The salad bar is so much more than I could imagine a salad bar would be, with inventive and colourful ingredients and many hot offerings. The tea menu was extensive and the serve-yourself, always-ready pots of chai and green tea were perfect touches. We had the 3-dish sampler, 2 mains, and dessert, and almost wanted to get another plate of salads because it was so difficult to choose. Servings are generous! We just ate enough for about 4 people between the 2 of us. I can't recommend Tea and Happiness enough. If you are vegan or vegetarian and find yourself in Rotorua this is your happy place."

"During my visit, there were only two vegan options: one main and one appetizer. Both were tasty, though not very substantial. Service was friendly and helpful. Too bad there aren’t more vegan choices."
