"I was skeptical to try this new place because of the reviews, but I was pleasantly surprised. I made a reservation for Easter weekends on OpenTable and found customer service and food very good. The fish was fresh and we liked the ambience. I think it's easy for a new restaurant to get tough critics when they first open because they need time to work the logistics. I'm a tahoe-local and I'll be back, let these few bad reviews stir you away. Thanks to our server WILL, which was fantastic."

"Unexpectedly delicious! We were seated quickly and the service was prompt and attentive. Best teriyaki chicken around, plus the sushi bar looks clean and fully stocked. "One of the few places that really deserves a 5 star. One closer to the Japanese sushi bar I saw here in the states. Large chefs that have a balance of speed and presentation. You can say through taste and texture, there is nothing but fresh ingredients. The staff was much more friendly, and the building was much cleaner and better designed than the other sushi place in the city. If you choose between Sushi places in Tahoe, is that the one you want?"

"This is definitely not Japanese Ramen considering thst this is a Japanese restaurant. . The noodles were soggy, the soup too thick (thickened with cornstarch), the meat was Chinese char siu barbecue. They really should do something about this. Very very disappointed!"
