"So far, this has been the most pleasant experience for me in Saarbrücken. The place is located slightly away from Dudweilerstraße and so away from all the noise. The food is inexpensive and extremely delicious. I mostly ate the vegetarian food and they had a lot of options. It’s a must go if you are in Saarbrücken."

"Delicious! The food is consistently high quality, and prepared with fresh ingredients. Their bami goreng is a hidden gem. Unbeatable quality for the price!"

"The last day, the card game lady round, which also belongs to my wife, had hit her every month; Among other things, one of the card sisters who is very interested in Thaifood was praised humo over the green glue. Why my most beloved yesterday made the proposal to follow this recommendation. what we did in the early evening. the sumo was last september of nui tran, who came from the laotic savannakhet, at the age of 18 came to berlin and had learned there at a Thai cook until he could no longer teach, then after several stations in berlin Thai restaurants and a stop in koblenz had landed in saarbrücken. I heard you could live well in sacred bridges if you can cook well, so Darn. the summary, which sometimes operates under sumo street food, but also under sumo restaurant or sumo thai sushi, would be well advised to agree a consistent appearance and especially also to take out-advertising the gastronomic predecessor la frontiera (the German-French border is just a stone far away) from the house wall. herr tran brings this sumo together with his wife wearing and his sister hao van. the beginning was heavy; only after a while first guests had found themselves. of mundpropaganda, however, it became more and more; also helped to sell the foods and drinks outside the house. in June 22 a business collapsed: the neighbouring roundabout was operated for several weeks and thus the access to the Unnerstraße and thus also to the Summé blocked. only on 14.07. the small gastrooperated operation could open again and has been good since then; we were lucky to have a table yesterday without reservation. the burden was very well visited and during the time we spent there I counted at least ten people who picked up their orders and ran away. the environment is simple, but appealing; as it looks at the predecessor la frontiera, we do not know. we were never there, the furniture is fine; stable tables and chairs in warm wood tones and insurgent Asia deco: two larger Buddhas and a probably laotic goddess whose names I don't know, and on the walls some small Buddha figures sit in a small or tilted dim muzzle. what we did not like was the room temperature. Although the regulator stood right next to our table on the radiator and proved 5 maximum power (in the other radiators in the room also determined), it was quite cool in the room, not hygge. My wife finally hung her thick winter jacket around her shoulders because it was a little cheerful. three stars that I wanted to give for the environment; a half star that I was still leaving, because the Karlsberg Urpils-Zapfsäle was staging in. It's not tapped here, it's completely filled. cleanliness: all picobello; I think this also applies to the wet wet blows we did not visit. service: a German young lady in direct service at the hospitable and laotic young lady behind the graves; good game together, everything goes friendly and fluttering. There are four stars of me for that. Food and drink: My wife drank a mango sassi (0.5l eur 5,50); as there is neither Thai nor Laotian beer on the map and I had no confidence in the few weeps offered, I drank French harp (0.5l eur 5.50). leti and beer gave no reason for complaints. she took as an appetizer gyoza (eur 7,50), a kind of wan tan on a sweet bed, and was very satisfied with her choice. I also had my Tom kha garnel for eur 6,00. four greasy shrimps, inside still slightly glazed, bathed together with several halved champions and two cocktail tomatoes (which have lost in one tone kha I did not; had probably lost, but were made to be ashamed by me in a short hand) in a hot broth that was not only hot from the temperature. a total of two astreins. as the main dish my heart-loving madras curry had spicy kokos madras curry and fresh vegetables with crispy (I wrote the card; again it is shown that even here before the card printing a German native speaker would have read the draft correction) for eur 15.00 and really praised their choice. there was absolutely nothing to clear out of her. I could not agree with the cheerful choir, my fried homemade noodles with teriyaki sauce and sweet, crispy escape showed little craftsmen weak. the fried noodles were quite far from a reference model and the teriyaki sauces tastefully rather weak on the chest; the due although delicate, but unfortunately not from the best or very good quality. for me in well-meaned three and a half stars. Conclusion: If my wife wants, I'll go back with her or get something for us. I'll eat Thai alone, but then I'd rather go to the local Siam or to the krua thai."

"The Asia Restaurant Ming has been around two years. It is located in the middle of the city near the Saarbrücker Main Station, near the Europa Gallery and the Congress Hall. A not inconsiderable location disadvantage for the Ming is that it does not have its own parking spaces. Guests can get a free parking at the main station with good luck and are otherwise dependent on the City Park or the parking garages of the central area (Parkhaus Europa-Galerie, Parkhaus Alte Post and others; nothing for people with a short lunch break, because it is a good piece of road to the Ming, which then must return to the car with a full stomach. In view of this situation, we have probably waited so long with our first visit, although we had only heard positively about this place so far. The management of the Ming obviously knows about the improper parking situation and therefore takes over the parking fees for its guests at noon EUR 1.50 and in the evening EUR 3.00 (the amounts are deducted from the final invoice amount, at least in the town of Saarbrücken, no second Asian restaurant of similar size is known. The equipment works fairly dense, predominant color is the well-known dark China red. Beautiful glass art, as good as no kitsch and nothing seems overloaded. I liked the colorful children's playroom; that gets half a star from me and so I come to three and a half stars for the ambience. Cleanliness: everywhere really very clean, the wet rooms flash and flash formally. Four stars. Service: During our visit is a young Chinese and two young German men (the martial haircut of the US martial S.E.A.L.S. is currently scary in ; but I bet none of the two drunk men were ever in use in the covenant. They didn't have much to do, especially since the few guests, so also we decided to do the lunch buffet. For the service drink only the beverages, clean empty plates and lashing. In fact, if the cottage is full and along with buffet should also lead the complete à la carte business, the service team certainly needed a considerable increase to avoid land. This time we didn't know much service, so I can't forgive more than two and a half stars. Food and drink: offers are served next to the lunch buffet with sushi (EUR 8.90 per person the evening buffet with Mongolian grill (EUR 16.90 p.P. and the weekend buffet with Mongolian grill for EUR 17.90 per nose. There is also the normal card; it can be under [here link] to be considered. I drank Bitburger Pils (0.4l EUR 3.50, my wife had an orange choir (0.4l EUR 3.30). We both participated in the lunch buffet with sushi; this cost my wife full of EUR 8.90 and for me as driver EUR 7.40 (EUR 8.90 minus EUR 1.50 as parking fee partial refund We did not use the free coffee on the house; in this case I would have had two more foot marches, to the car and back, for the purpose of parking ticket renewal and that would not have been the best coffee. My wife was more satisfied with the buffet when I did it; she especially praised the many fresh vegetables (determined TK goods that would not otherwise be in Asia buffets, the filling of spring rolls, the Wan Tan bags and the sushi offer that I would not perceive as always. For me, the fried noodles were to muddy and tasteless shrimps, as they were offered here in plastered and fried form, I have eaten Gottseidank and never before. Duck and chicken were normal for Asian buffet, the Quid rings I would have gone around far enough. Good were the Wan Tan and the little dumplings, refreshment was offered as dessert. Neither the red, nor the poison-green gods food I ever pack in Asia buffets; I tried and found the little chocolate with chopped pistachios upstairs. When I consider that my wife was more satisfied with her food than I, I give my very benevolent two and a half stars for food and drink, giving a total of three stars. Price/Performance: Three stars. Conclusion: Especially the parking situation, but also the kitchen performance, I decided: here you are no longer going; The Ming for me is just a buffet that is amusing among many. I don't have to run the wolf! And my wife doesn't really want to go back there."
