"The foie gras was excellent, served with toasted pain d'epice (which our French friend thought shouldn't have been toasted though I liked it) but the piece de boucher (beef) was tough. Other dishes also varied in quality and the heating failed. The centrepiece log fire remained unlit so it became a touch chilly."

"Last season days in la fontaine. never disappointed, great service, great food, we belong to the loyal customers and I must say we are quite proud of it. we had our last diner of winter season with a fondue. What can I say? very good, I strongly recommend and make sure they book a table!"
