"The flavor is on point. However, both the j chicken sandwich and the brown stew chicken were full of loose bones throughout which made it super awkward and to be honest gross to eat. I’m not talking thick bones either, like thin bones that can be a hazard when eating it."

"It?s just okay food. Not sure if coming for dinner was the best option as it seems like the food had been sitting there a while. We got pork and oxtails. The pork was seasoned so well and was very juicy and tender. However the bowl we got was very mushy and lacked a ?crunch? factor in it. The oxtails were okay. They had a bbq sauce kind of flavor to them and it?s not what I was expecting. I was a little disappointed as well because it cost $20 for just that dish and when my bowl was being prepared, the gentle man was scooping my rice but and there was hardly any rice left in the container and he was scooping what little rice was left. It felt like he was scraping the sides for old rice. I got a scoop and a half of rice, rather than 2 full scoops. I didn?t feel like I got a value for that dish. This isn?t a place I think I?ll be returning to. The flavors were great, but something about both dishes were a little ?off?."

"I just walked in and asked for a Turkey Cuban and walked out with knowledge of this family owned business and as well I met a young man with a Bright Future in baseball. I'm in love with this place already. Best of success to Smiley's Deli. The sandwich is by far the best I've had ever! Literally... You're missing out if you haven't tried this place. So glad I found it."

"Excellent experience. from service to eating to ambiente and music. very clean and well kept. we had the mofongo with fried pork and it was on the point. also ordered the trifongo with rock steak and it was juicy and tender! the greatstone rellenos were delicious and the passion fruit mimosa was a great combination! chef sal has surpassed our expectations. in any case recommend so happy that there is finally a true Puertorrican restaurant near home! very affordable! stop them as soon as they can and bring their friends!"
