"THe restaurant is very picturesque with a great view. Definitely worth the visit. Unfortunately the food was so so. My wife ordered the sea food platter and was disappointed because everything arrived cold. When she sent it back they microwaved it. Can you say shrimp...rubber? The waitress could not do anything about our displeasure since the BOSS was not there. The rest of the meal was OK. Probably not worth the price though."

"This is a specialty small seafood market. We stopped here to purchase fresh seafood (scallops, mussels and gravalax) and was not disappointed in the offerings. It is a specialized market serving to those with discerning tastes. In addition to the seafood there was a wide...selection of Quebec cheeses. Beside the market is a cafe where they serve sandwiches, soups, pastries and really good coffee (way better than Tim Horton's). If you like your coffee strong, this is the place. They also had some awesome pastries."

"Okay, it's far from being high gastronomy and the employees' plastic aprons give a rather trash look, but it's a great classic of gaspésie and a must for me every time back there. but you must love fast food fat. Think of a well-known chain of fried chicken but with in addition to seafood (frits) on the menu."

We went to the canteen cartier and we went out very enchanted. canteen offers a variety of dishes; there is even a menu from day to week; Actually, it's like a restaurant so much the choice is abundant. what we ate was very good. a bar is adjacent to the establishment. it is a brand new, very large, with large windows, all in an exceptional setting. You have a wonderful view of the sea, the municipal park and the mountains in the background. I strongly recommend this canteen cartier during your next visit to Sainte-Anne des monts."
