"After hearing about it, a friend and I finally went for the first time in March. In terms of the menue: a nice selection of traditional (mostly-) Austrian dishes, transformed into contemporary style. We did like the Mediterranean flavored appetizer platter, which is nice to share. My main course were Ravioli on sweet mashed potatoes. (Quite unsual, but good) The suggested wine was nice as well. The service could have been more attending, we were not asked for dessert nor a coffee, we needed to flag the service people and waited a bit until we could order, in terms if the service is room for a little improvement, the overall experience was nice, so to speak."

"We found this bar in front of Franziskanerkirche and, as we got in, we felt like we were in Milano or Roma. The hospitality is great and the food is outstanding, as the raw materials came directly from Italy (ham, cheese, tomatos, coffee... . The guys...are so nice and friendly and they gave us a lot of advices and recommendations."

"This restaurant was recommended by our hotel. We hadn't booked but were found a table outside and waited for the menu. No menu! You choose from the fish on ice displayed inside. Pricing was a bit vague. We received a cold fish starter platter which was refreshing and tasty. The main course was absolutely delicious (rotbarsch) served with grilled vegetables. All good. Then we were encouraged to try a mixed platter of desserts. We could only fit a little more in so asked for very small portions. It was too much and the bill was way more than we anticipated. We enjoyed the evening as the food was good and we had convivial conversation with some people at the next table but the ordering and pricing system is a bit disconcerting."

"Just because the owner isn't Italian, it doesn't detract from the good Italian food served and presented here. My wife and I had 2 excellent meals after having to walk out of an Italian restaurant a few blocks away that reviewers raved about.The service was very friendly ( made substitutions willingly and eagerly) and all staff attentive. The fish (MIxed fish grill) was fresh and tasty- the pasta (tagliatelle with peas and ham) firm and delectable."

"Das Arge Beisl ist zu allen Jahreszeiten einen Besuch wert, besonders an lauen Sommerabenden aber lohnt sich der Besuch der zum Bleiben einladenden Sonnenterass - reservieren ist hier aber zu empfehlen! Das Essen ist wirklich gut, hier wird auf Qualität geachtet, und sowohl Vegetarier als Fleisch-Freunde finden etwas Leckeres in der Karte. Kommt man Mittags kann man aus den abwechslungsreichen Menüs wählen. Auch die hauseigenen Limonaden schmecken wirklich sehr gut. Hier kann man es sich gut gehen lassen! :)"

"Neapolitan managers always grant great food, so "Da Ciro" is a safe bet for pizza and other Neapolitan specialties. My pizza with buffalo mozzarella was good, the pastiera even more.. Divine! Such a shame it's located a bit in the middle of nowhere, prices are reasonable for this quality!"

"Had the most lovely dinner here. When we were trying to find it, we thought there can't be a restaurant around here, but there is was. Did have help from our Garmon, too. Wait staff in traditional dress, family owned, table settings were gorgeous, our waiter Daniel sopke english. Myself and my daughter are gluten intolerant and when we told Daniel this he was able to tell us how the chef would prepare our meals without any gluten. I would recommend this to anyone visiting Salzburg who wanted a fine meal. Don't remember the cost of our meals but worth every euro."
