"Having been to Scarborough for over 30 years I can believe I’ve never found this place before. The food and service and general atmosphere of the place were great for my first visit. The menu is varied (see attached pictures as of December 2023). We had the Steak Pie Veg and it was excellent."

"Me and my mum realy did not want to cook today...so I orderd a dinner for one for ten pound including delivery...omg we got absolutly loads and it was absolutely beautiful...all home made the veg was sooo fresh...im.so funny about meat and if I have chicken its got to be pure white...it was absolutly beautiful highly recommend it even comes on a really big plate honestly anyone wanting dinner deliverd iv tried so many places this is the best better than baxters even!!!!!!"

"No room inside so we sat outside, there was sick all over the floor and one of the tables which multiple members of staff saw as they were coming and going but nobody took it upon themselves to clean it up. We would have stayed longer but made a sharp exit. Price per person: £1–10 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 5"

"We went in to get the cold out. no coffee present, but otherwise the friendliness of the personal or its service cannot fail. there is wheelchair access, much space to reach the pub. the menu was decent. the prices were reasonable and the place was very clean. we followed in two days because the personal was so courteous. the cake was on the small side, but delicious. the steak was beautifully cooked. mac n cheese was also great. will be definitiw next time we go to Scarborough"
