"We liked it here, especially upstairs where you get a fantastic view of the harbour and lighthouse. Staff very friendly. We went twice during our stay in Scarborough and I ordered the same dish the second time as I had really enjoyed it first time around, but each time it was different which was odd. The first one had some lovely saute potatoes, they went really well with the dressed salad although the amount of crab was quite measly. The second time there was more crab but only a few boiled potatoes in a separate dish. I'd have had a different dish if I had known the meals weren't consistent because I just didn't enjoy it so much."

"After a lengthy interval (covid etc), we recently popped in for drinks were reminded what a great hotel bar restaurant The Crescent Hotel is. We came again for dinner were blown away by the quality sirloin steak with all the trimmings. Highly recommended."
