"I shouldn't be telling you this, but this is the best fresh seafood spot in all of the Houston area. It comes right off the boats at Seabrook marina and they cook whatever type of seafood you like, prepared as you like it. If it's running, they'll have it. "We stopped in for lunch today and ended up just having a appetizers. Food Fried green tomatoes these were really good came with both Alfredo and marinara sauce and a nice garnish off fried onions. Seafood stuffed jalapeños these were kinda generic mostly a basic crabcake inside a pickled jalapeño. Atmosphere this place seems to have a slight identity crisis... is it seafood, Mexican, Italian mixed with pop music and sports themes in the restroom. Confetti under the plexiglass table covers makes the tables look dirty not festive. Service our waitress was pleasant but not overly attentive. Came back for refills after we had already finished and were waiting on our check. What got me was when we commented on how quite the place was she said the owners were too cheap to fix the sign. Makes you wonder what else they skimp on. Overall we happened in here by chance as the restaurant we went for was closed. It was ok enough to eat there but nothing that we noticed would make us say we MUST go back"

"I enjoyed my meal and experience at Tookie's Seafood. This place is great. From the proper design of the restaurant itself to the very friendly staff, this is a good choice for a meal. The exterior is held as well as the interior. All the staff I watched, smiled or laughed with the girls. This ensures a comfortable and attractive experience. You don't feel neglected or ignored here. My meal came to the table at a very decent time. The food itself was exactly the way I ordered it. The kitchen staff definitely knows what they do! I enjoyed my dinner and the ice cold draft beer. I recommend Tookie's Seafood Restaurant for a delicious food and service with smiles! A service!"

"We had dinner here last night. Knowing Friday nights are busy at the boardwalk we were prepared to wait. We put our name in at the front and outdoors. A few minutes later we were able to snag seats at the bar. We had a drink, ordered a second and then our table was ready outdoors-much sooner than we expected. It was a nice night and we had a great meal complete with fireworks at the end! We couldn’t have hoped for a better evening!"

"My family and I have been going here for years. We get all of our crawfish here for my annual crawfish boil we wake up 3am to get there before they run out. Their seafood is always fresh and they have great prices"
