"Right from the time we arrived. Well looked after, menu explained in detail, drinks followed and flowed then came the food. Kilo Ceviche outstanding and Korean tartare a must try again for me on our next visit from Melbourne. Once finished just head downstairs for cleanser to Camp Kilo, happy days!"

"The fajitas were well seasoned. Pity that it came with only 2 tortillas. Salsa was yummy. The tacos were huge and tasty. Cheaper alternatives at 18 tai seng and value for money mexican food."

"The Spicy Scallop Aglio was really fragrant and is not too spicy, the pan-seared Canadian scallops were really fresh and juicy, making a good combo with the bacon and linguine! Also, we had the pan-seared steak, the meat sauce was flavourful while the mashed potato and glazed vegetables added a nice touch to the dish! Highly recommend The Communal Place!"

"Large space in East Coast that has an eclectic menu for every palate. We booked the venue for a team lunch for 25 pax and the staff were very helpful to coordinate and arrange the food. The food itself is okay, perhaps it was because there were so many orders, but it’s a reliable place to come hang out at."

"Giving it stars for the location and ambience We ordered all Mexican food and the cheese on it was really bad kind of ruined all the dishes for us. We got mock tails that all cost $10 but quality was very poor would never order those here again. If you are the restaurant owner: you’ve got a great location and a great concept all you’re left with is to up your food standards and you will do amazing."
