"We had a party of 8, made reservations weeks in advance. We checked in and they could have cared less left us standing around and it wasn't busy. 6 out of the 8 meals were over cooked or burnt. Mentioned it to the manager and she did nothing. The food was awful and way over priced. If I could post a zero, I would. Don't waste your time or money."

"Sbicca is one of my favorite restaurants in Del Mar. Every time I eat at Sbicca I wonder why I don't make it there more often. I love the proscuitto-wrapped prawns for an appetizer; there are several, so great for sharing. The last time I was there I had the filet mignon which was cooked perfectly. The rooftop dining area has a great atmosphere. Always a pleasant evening."

"This place is not less than amazing. The orange juice was so fresh and had no added sugar. So many options for vegans and the whole combination of ingredients was fantastic. We wish that the ginger Sesam Tofu had more taste, as it was quite bland, but unlike all that was great. We ordered the Crispy Burrito and Red Green Pagoda."

"Chief's is a great burger joint and an even better sports bar. The owner is clearly a Broncos fan, but despite these small mistakes the bar is great. A great local meeting place on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. A pretty good beer selection and even better kombuca selection. We tasted the new coal kombuca and it was a big hit with our crowd."

"We really enjoyed our dinner at Jake’s. The setting is great and even though we got there after sundown, seeing the waves lit up outside is still a very nice view. It seems well setup so almost all the tables have a view of the water. Many good dinner options, and the food plating was excellent, quite fancy, actually. The quality of the food was very good, but maybe not great- a little cold for mine. Service was great- nice, timely, not too obtrusive. Never felt we were waiting or rushed."

"Located at perfect ocean front location in Cardiff. Parking is so hard unless you're up for a walk down the highway but they have valet for $7 which is so convenient. We requested for ocean view window seating and was seated there as requested without a problem. Started with cucumber jalapeño margarita and skinning. I liked the cucumber jalapeño more since I like a kick but next time I'd probably skip the agave as it was too sweet for my taste. They have a great gluten free and vegetarian menu which is one of the reasons i chose this restaurant as my husband is gluten sensitive. We got Cardiff roll which was excellent. Tuna and crab were both so fresh and we loved the raw jalapeño on top but it might not be for everyone. I'd love to try their sunset roll next time as it looked delicious with coconut shrimp inside. We shared the short rib entree and I'm so glad we shared and it was massive. I thought they had mistakenly put in an order for two but they had kindly split into two plates for us. The ribs were good. Brussels sprouts just okay a little under seasoned and potato gratin was mediocre. We had coconut cheese cake to share. Hubby loved it I thought it was okay but it might be because I'm a chocolate person. I'd go back to try other dishes"
