"We enjoyed the dinner absolutely! Eating was amazing, landscape was very cool! bloody mary was absolutely perfect! we felt so bad for all employees, as they were left short, which is not their fault, of course, but still trying to make it right! we insisted on paying the full price, but the owner and the staff did not leave us. it wasn't our fault. above all it was an amazing night, eating and landscape were absolutely perfect evening!"

"Great service but the food lacks the same spirit of the original 5-8 (maybe I'm nostalgic? Adjusted my review to three stars and going again shortly to be fair and give another chance. My review originally reflected my buddy's opinion on the tacos and our dishes as well as my past few visits. He's a retired chef and had some harsh words. He voiced them to the staff and they were SUPER about it. I'll edit after next visit. Edit:. Came again and had the tacos for taco Tuesday.....ok, yes a lot of grease but drain or no drain the beef is a debate....no taco flavoring in the beef makes these loose meat with tomato, lettuce and shredded cheese on tortilla. Taco taco flavoring. This from 4 other Tuesday regulars."

"We've visited this establishment many times, but from even the first visit it feels like coming home. The staff and ambiance are always welcoming, food is great (and affordable), and there's plenty of entertainment between pull tabs game shows."

"They overhauled my steak, but their staff was very nice and replaced it. The cut of meat is simply ok, I would not order steak here in the future, because otherwise offered it tastes better."

"Little hole in the wall, as others have stated; really a perfect little place for coming off of the river and having some beers, drinks, or shots, maybe some bar food if you're hungry. Basically, Mom and i went here to try something new, and it wasn't bad. I wouldn't necessarily recommend it to anyone who doesn't drink, as the food isn't much more substantial than bar food. Not bad, not great, just is what it is, and there's nothing wrong with that, now is there?"

"A beautiful atmosphere on the terrace at the river, decent service. Eating is decent, but a little mediocre. fischtacos were in the round a fried cabling in a flourtortilla with only about one table spoon of a swede."
