"I love classic diners and Spruce Grove has a few of them. However, this one which just opened is the best. Inside, it looks, sounds and smells like a wonderful American-style diner. The cool thing is that it is actually a franchise out of Ontario. The waitresses are friendly and very attentive (fast coffee refills and checking on us a couple of times). The decor is sunny and simple. I really like the open stainless steel kitchen area. Our meals were very good. I especially love their sausages and hash browns. Those are much better than other breakfast places. The menus are just the right length. I am not a fan of Cora's and Tutti Frutti because their menus are too bloody long, the food just isn't as good quality, and the prices are inflated in my opinion. Give me a good old-fashioned diner like this one and I am a happy girl."

"Our first visit and we were not disappointed. The greeting was excellent with verbal contact as soon as you walk in and lots of smiles from all the staff. They are all so very nice and we found that the server was very knowledgeable. Need help with the Menu, no problem, as they ask what you like and then make suggestions based from that. The food was very good and we will be looking forward to a return visit very soon. We had to ask for take out bags, as we found that we had so much food to eat in one session. The decor was very pleasing and the staff were very well dressed making it most enjoyable. The cost of the meal for two, was not anymore than a normal full meal cost elsewhere."

"This place has great staff and delicious food...this is apparent due to the fact I have been here on a few different occasions and always have to wait for a table...the wait isn't usually too long and they seem to get quality food out quickly which results in fast table turnover...I highly recommend this place for some great breakfast at a reasonable price."

"The menu does not label items that might be safe. We asked the server and she offered only a gluten-free bread (which she admitted may be cross-contaminated) or fruit cup. We asked to consult with a manager but there were none available (Saturday at 5pm). We asked to speak to one of the kitchen staff but that was a hard No. We had the fruit cup which they say was prepared carefully, and no Celiac symptoms were felt after."

"I was surprised to see a hotel restaurant was rated so highly but this place delivered. Had a quick lunch. Menu is good and reasonably priced. Service was crisp and efficient. I had the Rueben which arrived lacking visual appeal and seemed a bit thin. Happy to say the taste was very good. Bog standard fries were serviceable."

"On this visit, I ordered 2 x Bacon, 2 cheese deluxe signature stackburger combos with fries, and two regular soft drinks. The burgers, fries, and the one of the drinks, the rootbeer, were ok, but what was supposed to be a Sprite tasted more like watered down Pepsi or Coke. My 4 month pregnant wife actually preferred the taste of it rather than the rootbeer. But later on, she started having abdominal discomfort from one or more of the food/drink items. I am also still burping up burger 5 hours later. Please make your food and drinks better DQ staff in command. Thanks."
