"What an amazing place. Food was delicious, we ordered the big breakfast and the little breakfast and both were great. The cafe itself is lovely with indoor and outdoor (heated) dining areas."

"My friend is disabled at the moment, due to illness, when we looked for somewhere that had allergy friendly as my friend is gluten free. We asked the young lady if there was anything available gluten free for lunch which was around 1.15pm.she said no nothing oh we have a chocolate brownie, as my friend had struggled to get in she didn’t want to try anywhere else so sat with a cake for her lunch, I asked if it was possible to have a salad, told no we don’t do salads. I asked for a side salad with my sandwich to be told it had to be In sandwich.very dissatisfied with today I was taking my lovely friend out and also she was trying to cheer me up from my husband’s bereavement."

"Got starters of calamari for 3 people everyone had one or two pieces and typically everyone found plastic strips in side the batter when we called the waiter he said it wasn’t plastic but some kind of membrane that should have been removed before cooking.Even though he admitted that it wasn’t right we never got anything knocked of the bill apart from the calamari starters that was inedible.Shame that a place we use to frequent regularly for over 20 years is now over the last 18 months a place where we go reluctantly!"

You catered superbly for my retirement party group of 11 and I will be forever grateful for making it the best day I could have possibly wished for. "Wild horses would get me back there.The interior is nice and the lounge singer was good, that 's the positives out of the way.It was Christmas eve so I expected the place to be fairly full as apparently it was booked up for a month. But on entering we were shown to a table in the corner away from everything even though the place was a quarter full, a good spot to watch the drunken people walk past on the poorly lit high street.When ordering a drink the waiter looked shocked I asked for a coke (full fat). He brought a diet so I assume he thought I was a bit overweight, £2.50 for the smallest bottle possible.I ordered the special 'blackened steak ' and my wife and son opted for fillet. After 10 minutes we was told the fillet was unavailable, so we ordered 3 'blacken steaks '. We received 3 sirloin steaks instead which was undercooked."
